A TON OF VERY HELPFUL INFO INCLUDED REGARDING THE LIFELINE PROGRAM AND THE AFFORDABLE CONNECTIVITY PROGRAM AND OTHER BENEFITS WHICH MAY BE AVAILABLE TO MOST HERE.
Please copy and paste this post and email it back to yourself so you can later share it with others.
CAN WE PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT CLEANING UP A COMMON PROBLEM? Whoever is behind these sites which gives information about the lifeline and or the affordable connectivity program and/or the former emergency broadband benefit program… Well you have done a hell of a job and you are a great person. And I have seen what you’ve had to put up with and how much time and effort you have placed into these websites. But I have seen a lot of misinformation. Not only on these websites but also on the actual providers pages themselves. There are some pages on some of the providers which do not update things and it is a wonderful why they don’t because it would be in their favor to do so.
I believe there are many lifeline providers now, with most states having at least a few to several options, of providers who offer for ” standalone ” Lifeline service of at least 350 to 1,000 minutes of talk per month, plus unlimited texting, plus 4.5 gigabytes of data for internet access. And most also offer a free smartphone. And now you can transfer from one provider who gave you a free SmartPhone to another provider who will give you another free smartphone. The rule used to be you received only one free smartphone for the lifeline program per person, ever. But with all the money flowing for the ebb and ACP programs this has changed apparently.
MY CONCERN IS THAT WE SHOULD BEGIN AIMING TO CLARIFY EXACTLY WHAT EACH PROVIDER OFFERS.
What does each provider offer for ” standalone ” Lifeline service? This means you will apply only your lifeline benefit and not your ACP benefit.
What disease provider offer for standalone affordable connectivity program service? This means a person would apply their ACP benefit without their lifeline benefit.
And lastly what would the provider offer if a customer who is eligible were to apply both the lifeline and the affordable connectivity program benefit, together?
For example, in my state the best tablet offered for the emergency broadband benefit program was given by Terracom Wireless. Terracom gave an unused SM-T307 tablet which is a 2020 Tab A 8.4 inch Samsung tablet. This was their EBB offer. It included unlimited data. I do not know how many gigabytes of high speed data that was but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was truly unlimited. Because they now offer 20 GB of high-speed data for the ACP program, maybe unlimited data which slows down after the gigabytes of high speed data is used.
Terracom wireless and assurance wireless are to providers who have temporarily stopped the sales of their tablets. But both providers have told me they plan to soon resume tablet sales.
Assurance Wireless offered a 10-in Coolpad Tasker tablet for the emergency broadband benefit program.
Assurance Unlimited is a plan where you bundle together both your lifeline and your affordable connectivity program benefits. They may have the best one of any company. 35 GB of high-speed data with another 10 gigabytes of hotspot data plus unlimited talk and text. They have also been giving out Moto g pure phones, Schok Volt SV55 smartphones, and Wiko Life 3 smartphones. Insurance wireless may allow you to purchase a different phone but they may not allow you to bring your own phone.
Although SafeLink wireless standalone lifeline offer maybe only 350 minutes of talk per month for free with unlimited text and 4.5 gigabytes of internet data… SafeLink may have the second best bundle plan of all the companies. They offering 25 GB of high speed data 5 GB of hotspot data plus unlimited talk and text. They may allow you to bring your own phone.
I believe SafeLink wireless and assurance wireless hotspot data is added to, as in plus their high-speed data. Some providers who talk about hotspot data have hotspot data included as part of the overall high-speed data. Mini providers talk about unlimited data but you must learn how many gigabytes of high-speed data they give because after it is used your internet access may be slowed down drastically. It is best to learn the few dozen tricks you can learn to reduce background data and battery usage. You can uninstall or disable many apps. Because you can access many sites through the web browser. You can even message on Facebook through the web browser if you click on the desktop version in your settings in the upper right hand corner on Google chrome. I keep my Google Chrome to connect things and synchronize especially since when you get a device you should synchronize at least two or three Gmail addresses to the Google section on your device. So you can find a lost or stolen phone or tablet quickly by going to Google find my device page. Samsung and Apple and possibly other manufacturers also have this function. You can also install a program which will track your phone but anytime you install any programs such as and texting and calling app or a antivirus or malware you should seek one which does not use much battery or data in the background.
You can once a week reinstall a texting app and a phone cleaner fixer. And you can use these while you have access to plenty of free Wi-Fi at a public space or if you have a unlimited home Wi-Fi plan. Then you can run these and you can make your call with your texting app or send a text once a week so you do not lose your extra number for your text now app. And then you can uninstall these apps again. You can access your text now app through the web browser but you can’t use the app through the browser. You can access only your account info through text now on your browser.
You can reduce background data and battery usage on over 2/3 of your apps. When you go into the app settings also click on the dots which allow you to open the system apps. System apps are not readily visible unless you do this. I don’t think any apps need unlimited background data or battery access. But you may want to choose a few apps to give them partial background data and battery usage. You will have to research to learn which ones you will want to do this with.
To learn which companies give lifeline or affordable connectivity program coverage or both in your area type the phrase
AFFORDABLE CONNECTIVITY PROGRAM PROVIDERS NEAR ME.
He will be taken to a page on the USAC website. She doesn’t have providers. Some are the same company with two names. You may have to contact many of them just type one message and send it to one provider and then get the email address for the next provider and just forward the email address that you just sent to the other provider. You can go into your sent folder in your email and pull up the message which you just previously sent instead of typing it out again. And just include the name or email address of the next one. Or you can include a bunch of addresses at once with the same message.
Has the provider what their plan for minutes and data and texting is for standalone lifeline service, and then ask what their plan is for standalone ACP service. And then ask what their plan is if a person is to bundle together their ACP and lifeline benefits? Ask if they offer a discounted tablet or laptop between $10 and $50? If it’s a tablet is it 4G LTE connectable? If so will it be locked? If it is locked when and how can you get it unlocked?
Boost mobile offers a Alcatel Joy tab 2 tablet but it may cost you over $40 with activation fees and taxes. You may also be required to go into a boost Mobile store to buy it. But it may be worth it because these tablets silver over $150 and they are very well known so it’s easy to find good protective cases and screen covers for them.
Newphone and Cintex wireless are sister companies who give the same offer. They have standalone lifeline offers. 1,000 minutes unlimited texting and 4.5 GB of data. And pretty decent phones although they may be refurbished. And they want you to stay with them at least 4 months I believe to pay off the device which is reasonable. And they have a standalone lifeline offer. It includes a Alcatel Joy tab 1 tablet for $10 and one penny. It may be a refurbished or new. You must ask because they have advertisement stating both. And they also have offers where you bundle together your lifeline and your ACP benefit.
Other providers who have offers where you can use standalone lifeline or stand alone ACP or bundle both together include to ricom wireless, American assistance which is also known as American broadband telecommunications, stand up wireless, and assurance wireless, and probably a few others.
Standup Wireless and Cathect Communications offer tablets paid by manufacturers of budget devices. Sky Elite octa and the NUU Tab 8, respectively. The sky tablet has very good performance for a budget tablet. I’ve seen them. And the NUU Tab 8 has fairly respectable specs. Like most providers these companies charge $10 or $11 for their tablet. Some providers may charge shipping. Some may not.
Cathect Communications gives 20 GB of high speed data per month for the ACP program. This is the same data plan offered by terracom wireless. It is fully paid for by the ACP $30 per month data benefit. And it is a lot of mobile data compared to most providers offer for the ACP program.
Cathect seems to be the same company as City Communications and tone Communications also known as Tone Comms. They all offer the same offer. I believe City communications may have a standalone lifeline offer but I am not sure.
Providers who gives cheap tablets include Q Link Wireless and Truconnect Wireless. Both providers have very good standalone lifeline plans and may even give decent smartphones for standalone lifeline. But their tablets are cheap as in not good not cheap as in decent budget tablets. Other providers who may give cheap tablets include Dailytel Inc. and Maxsip. Red pocket mobile used to offer one of two different times for the emergency brought their benefit program. One offer was the cheaper 7-in Alcatel tablet which they currently offer for the ACP program. But they also offered a very good Pro version of the 8 inch or 10 inch Hyundai Hytab tablet. And like boost Mobile and some other providers red pocket mobile had a great data plan offer for the emergency broadband benefit program but they now offer much less data for the affordable connectivity program.
With some people, if you can handle a thousand minutes of talk per month with unlimited texting and 4.5 GB of internet data it is best to use your standalone lifeline benefit with one of the providers who offers this plan for standalone lifeline service including Assurance Wireless, or Stand up Wireless, or Truconnect Wireless, or QLink Wireless.
And Newphone Wireless ( or it’s sister company Cintex wireless ) may offer the 1000 minute maximum standalone lifeline plan.
Some providers give better cell phones than others. And some are giving better phones after all the money flowed from the EBB and ACP program.
I’ve read SafeLink wireless is now giving the same Moto g pure phones which assurance wireless gives. The assurance unlimited plan is incredible and worth waiting on if you can figure out how to have phone coverage for the 6 weeks it may take for you to receive your phone. SafeLink wireless was giving them faster but they have also slowed down because of the demand. There are many times people can figure out how to get around a problem. And not all of the people at all these companies are dishonest. Things are confusing. The companies have even forgotten to update some of the information sources. And this shows the company is overwhelmed because sometimes the company source of information is telling people the offer isn’t as good as it really is.
ALTHOUGH USAC RULES STATE ONLY ONE BENEFIT IS ALLOWED PER HOUSEHOLD EACH NON-MARRIED ADULT AND EMANCIPATED MINOR WHO LIVES AT A RESIDENCE COUNTS AS A SEPARATE HOUSEHOLD IF THEY ARE NOT MARRIED AND IF THEY CLAIM TO BE ROOMMATES WHO DO NOT SHARE EXPENSES. There is a page on the USAC website which states this. Just like the room with food stamps each adult or emancipated minor living at a residence counts as a separate household if they don’t share expenses. And each one can apply for a lifeline benefit and also an ACP benefit if they are eligible.
THE BEST ROUTE FOR MOST PEOPLE I KNOW IS TO SIGN UP FOR THREE BENEFITS:
1: XFINITY INTERNET ESSENTIALS HOME WI-FI. Pay out of pocket for home Wi-Fi. Because many providers have low income based Wi-Fi $10 to $20 per month without needing to use your ACP or lifeline benefit.
2: LIFELINE BENEFIT: Find one of the providers who offers a monthly standalone lifeline benefit of 350 to 1,000 minutes of talk, plus unlimited texting, plus 4.5 GB of data and a free smartphone.
3: AFFORDABLE CONNECTIVITY PROGRAM BENEFIT: You may want to first use your ACP benefit with a provider who offers the best tablet. Even if you eventually want to transfer both your lifeline and ACP benefit to Assurance Wireless or SafeLink Wireless because they offer the best bundle plans… You may first want to sign up with a provider offering a good tablet.
Stand up Wireless, or Boost Mobile. or American assistance ( AMBT ) each may offer only 10 GB of high-speed data per month for their ACP offer. Each offers a tablet. Boost and Standup have good tablets. American assistance offers a FoxxD T8 8 inch tablet made by Fox Development.. I’ve not seen it but it has fair specs and 4G LTE connectivity.
Stand up and American assistance each give you only 10 GB of high speed data requiring both your lifeline and affordable connectivity program benefits. I will give you five gigabytes of high-speed data or 5 1/2 for the ACP standalone benefit.
If Boost Mobile requires only your ACP benefit without your lifeline benefit this means you can use your lifeline benefit with a different provider.
It is best to pay for Wi-Fi out of pocket because many providers offer fixed home Wi-Fi data plans between $10 per month and $20 per month. Xfinity Internet essentials is the best if Comcast covers your area. It cost $9.99 per month. Free modem and installation. They also offer you a new Dell laptop for only $150. Either a 3100 Chromebook or a 3120 latitude. Each may be worth over $300. This plan is enough Wi-Fi for three or four people. Uncapped data at 50 Mbps download with 10 mb per second upload speeds. Actually more I’ve tested it on the Big bend telephone website. You can choose to use your ACP benefit and XFinity will give you 100 megabytes per second download with 10 upload. But the $10 plan is enough for most. And that would be a waste. It’s more efficient to use your lifeline and ACP benefits for mobile data plans. But if you must use one of your benefits to pay for your Wi-Fi you should probably use your lifeline benefit which pays $9.25 per month if you use it for a mobile data plan or for broadband. Using Lifeline benefit to pay for a landline phone pays only $5.25 per month and it is being phased out. More of you need to tell the elderly you know this. And many elderly are still paying $50 per month for a landline phone when you could help them set up a landline phone for only a few dollars per month especially if it is a VoIP phone. This can be a regular home phone like they are accustomed to. But it would run over an internet circuit. You would have to research to weigh the pros and cons of this against traditional landline phone service. A mobile smartphone may not be for the elderly. And landlines have some strength. But a VoIP phone could look like a traditional landline phone. But it may have a weakness if Wi-Fi goes down.
SOME PROVIDERS WHO OFFERED GOOD TABLETS FOR THE EMERGENCY BROADBAND BENEFIT PROGRAM. THEY MAY OR MAY NOT OFFER THE SAME OR DIFFERENT DEVICES FOR THE AFFORDABLE CONNECTIVITY PROGRAM.
TERRACOM WIRELESS OFFERS AN 8.4 IN TAB A SAMSUNG 2020 SM-T307 TABLET.
BOOST MOBILE OFFERS IN ALCATEL JOY TAB 2 TABLET.
KINETIC BY WINDSTREAM OFFERS A SAMSUNG A7 OR A7 LITE.
NEW PHONE OR CINTEX OFFERS AN ALCATEL JOY TAB 1 TABLET.
BIG BEND TELEPHONE OF TEXAS AND TEAM MIDWEST MEC OF MICHIGAN BOTH OFFER AMAZON FIRE TABLETS 10-INCH.
LOCATEL COMMUNICATIONS OF WASHINGTON STATE OFFERS A 10 INCH LENOVO TABLET.
XCHANGE TELECOM OF NEW YORK AND NEW JERSEY OFFERS A 8-IN ZTE ZPAD.
NEXTLINK offers a 10.1 inch 2 in 1 laptop possibly called a Plexwhich seems amazing one of the best devices in the country possibly.
IT&E of Guam and the Pacific Islands was offering an 8-in Samsung tab a tablet possibly a 2019 or an 8 in Amazon fire tablet.
ENTOUCH WIRELESS may offer a 7-in sky devices tablet. The website States it has only 3G connectivity. Unless they updated you may want to clarify that. Sometimes the websites are wrong. These seem to be pretty good for 7-in tablets. I saw one. It may be 4G connectable and they may not have updated the info.
EXCESS TELECOM and SELECTEL WIRELESS offered Hyundai tablets. OFFERED HYUNDAI TABLETS.
IF COMCAST DOES NOT COVER YOUR AREA… Many other big name Wi-Fi providers offer low income Wi-Fi between $10 and $20 per month. Cox Communication and Mediacom have reduced Wi-Fi called Connect to Compete, AT&t has a program called Access. A company called Suddenlink or Optimum or Altice or Advantage has a low income Wi-Fi program with a discounted 15-in Asus laptop for $150 refurbished.
Cox internet offers a laptop under $50 for the affordable connectivity program. They may sign you up for their Wi-Fi then send you to PCs for People to choose a laptop or desktop. They may require a modem but they may allow you to buy a used one and bring your own.
PCs for People and HUMAN-I-T sell refurbished laptops between $20 and $50. Their inventory fluctuates so you have to shop. Some are worth much more than the $100 which the ACP program pays for you and the $20 to $50 what you pay. These two companies require most areas to purchase a mobile hotspot device if you’re not close to their Wi-Fi coverage. Bus companies require a one-time fee for mobile hotspot devices. About $80. But it may be reduced $15 to $20. That is the change left over from the $30 per month ACP program pays after they pay for their data plan which is $10 or $15 per month with these two companies.
Some of you may also be eligible for technology assistance for disabilities. People who are deaf or hard of hearing or blind are eligible for free iPads or tablets with some companies. And other assistive technology. Research this sites FINDHELP.ORG and 211SEARCH or research the phrase Angie’s Angels laptops. That has a ton of assistance information and myriad categories.
Most of you get medicaid. You can earn rewards dollars for certain activities. Like a yearly checkup pays $20 for most Medicaid companies. You can pay off your yearly $12 and still have $8 left over. Some Medicaid companies pay $145 if you complete the 1-800 quit now program. Even if you don’t smoke. If you make seven calls and tell them you have stopped. They will pay you four different payments. You should tell them your quit date is very soon after you join and you would like to make a call every few days or every week and a half because you want to finish the program in less than 2 months. Don’t tell them you are rushing to get paid but you don’t want your payments too far apart because if you don’t spend the money on the Visa card from your Medicaid company.
3G BROADBAND IS BEING CANCELED THIS YEAR BY ALL FOUR OF THE MAJOR CARRIERS. AT&T, VERIZON, T-MOBILE AND SPRINT. ALL OTHER COMPANIES ARE CALLED MVNOs AND THEY BUY AND RESELL DATA FROM one or more of the big four carriers. A phone or tablet must have 4G or 5G broadband to have a mobile or cellular data plan added to it. Or else it will connect to the Internet only through Wi-Fi or Bluetooth or cable tethering. Watch out for some advertisements which say a tablet has 5G connectivity. They may mean 5G Wi-Fi which is actually 5.0 Wi-Fi which is not the same thing as Mobile Cellular data.
Most of you also can qualify for a couple of months of free Amazon prime with a Medicaid or food stamp card. You can also get a free temporary membership with walmart.com plus. This give you some benefits. But don’t join until you’re ready. You may have a 15-day membership. Then you may be able to renew it 15 days. But set a reminder a couple days early at least so you can cancel. Or else they will take money out of your debit card which is required to sign up.
Lee Cox Fort Wayne says
Are you certain that the data plan is 1000 minutes of talk with 2 GB of data?
I have studied the lifeline and the emergency Broadband benefit program and also the affordable connectivity program for sometime. I believe that there are several providers who have a standard of unlimited texting with 4.5 GB of data in most states. And they have an option to give you between $350 to 1,000 minutes of talk. I don’t know if this is a requirement but the USA set some type of standards for minimum service. And I thought that they were supposed to be 4.5 GB of data with unlimited texting and 350 minutes of talk. I believe that the talk minutes were raised to 1,000 minutes last year but I see that several providers give only 350 minutes or 500 minutes.
Like like SafeLink wireless. SafeLink Wireless gives only 350 minutes of talk with unlimited texting and 4.5 gigabytes of data. But SafeLink Wireless does have the second best bundle of all the plans you can get if you put both your Lifeline benefit and your ACP benefit together. Assurance Wireless has the best bundle. You have to put your ACP and your lifeline together. Assurance Wireless gives you 35 GB of high-speed data with another 10 gigabytes of hotspot data plus unlimited talking and texting.
SafeLink Wireless gives you 25 GB of high-speed with 5 GB of hotspot plus unlimited talking and texting.
I don’t believe safe Wireless gives tablet. Assurance Wireless was getting a pretty good tablet for the ebb program. A 10-in Coolpad Tasker tablet. It did not have data or mobile data connection. You could access the internet only through Wi-Fi or Bluetooth or cable tethering. Terracom wireless has the best tablet by far of anyone it’s a $300 Samsung tablet and one of the very few name brand tablets in the program. They give out a sm-t 307 2020 Tampa Bay 8.4 in Samsung tablet. Like Assurance Wireless and most companies who offer tablets the cost is $10 and one penny. I don’t know if you can I owe you the money or not. Some companies were doing that.
Terracom Wireless gives 20 GB of high-speed data for their mobile data plan on the tablet. So does City Communications and tone Communications and Cathect Communications. Those last three companies give 20 GB of high-speed data also for their tablets and they are all sister companies. They give a tablet which is called a NUU TAB 8 tablet. It’s pretty decent from the specs and things I read. It is maybe the fourth most valuable tablet in the program as far as the ones which are available in my state of indiana. But some people may want that tablet instead of a couple of others ahead of it because it gives enough data. But if you have Wi-Fi then you won’t need many gigabytes of mobile data on your tablet. Boost Mobile gives us a second most valuable tablet in my state which is an Alcatel Joy Tab 2 tablet worth $50 or more. Pain activation fee of around $25 and maybe $12 in tax. This still will cost under $50. If you cannot get the terracom wireless tablet deal you might want to go with Boost if you can afford $50 because some tablets are cheap and you do not want them.
Q Link Wireless and truconnect Wireless and Dailytel Inc, and MAXSIP I’ll have cheap tablets and I warn you against getting these tablets. They are not worth getting. And it will prevent you from getting a tablet from another provider. But if you get one return it as soon as you can and tell them that it wasn’t you that it went to that it went to someone else. Whatever you have to do. Because you will be cheated out of the $100 copay assistance that the ACP program will pay to help you get a tablet.
Stand up wireless has a good tablet. It is not a name brand flagship tablet but it is a good quality tablet. It’s just not easy to find a shockproof case which fits it very well. A friend of mine got one and we are looking at the LG g pad v480 to see if we can buy one of those cases and adapt it. We will have to use double-sided tape and things to make sure it doesn’t fall out of the case maybe.
Stand up wireless gives a sky devices elite optic tablet. It has very good specs. Android 11 with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of rom. And the performance is good and the graphics are good.
I have seen a tablet from trueconnect and they are cheap Sunshine t1 tablets.
Newphone wireless and Cintex Wireless our sister companies. They have been known for some decent phones and they are now giving out Alcatel joy to have one tablets. But like a lot of other companies they talk about unlimited data but I can’t pin down how many gigabytes of high-speed data they give. Because even if a company gives you unlimited data after you use the gigabytes of high speed data it may slow down drastically. Depending upon what the speed is after the gigabytes of high speed data is used it might be a slow speed or a very very slow speed. You also should be responsible enough to learn some things about your devices. And learn how to uninstall or disable apps that you don’t need. And go into your settings and reduce the background data and battery usage on 80% of your apps. Learn which ones you can do this with. And you can use Facebook on your browser. You can message from Facebook on your browser. You can then uninstall your Facebook app in your Facebook Messenger app which sucked down battery and data.
terracom Wireless also has a very good Lifeline plan. 500 minutes of talk with unlimited texting and 4.5 GB of data. And they will give you a free BLU or Maxwest dual SIM card phone. Worth about $80. The second SIM card slot may be unlocked. I checked three of them and they accepted SIM cards from other providers. This is unheard of. It also comes with a case and a screen protector. But you should get a very good case and screen protector for any device you have. You can find cheaper versions of things on AliExpress or banggood. Or it might even be wise to buy a slightly used screen protector case if they have taken good care of it. Be sure you have buyer protection and the person has a very good reputation.
Cintex and Newphone have advertisements which say that the tablet they give out is refurbished and then I saw one which said it’s brand new so ask the company before you buy. It may still be worth buying even if it’s refurbished but you may have better options like terracom Wireless or boost mobile. Ask a provider what kind of device they are giving even if they were giving one device for the ebb program they may now be giving in different device for the affordable connectivity program. Terracom Wireless and Assurance Wireless are two providers who have temporarily pause their tablets during the transition between ebb and acp.
You can see some of the providers who offer tablets or laptops if you type the phrase affordable connectivity program providers by state. Some of the ones with checkmarks sell laptops or tablets for $10 up to $50. Some with check marks May not.
If you type the phrase affordable connectivity program providers near me you enter your city and state or your ZIP code not both. You’ll see dozens of providers. Some may be the same company with two names. You will have to contact each and see how much they charge for their device or if they offer one at all. And how much gigabytes of high speed data come with the device. And ask them if they offer one plan for lifeline and another for affordable connectivity program. And then ask them if they offer a better plan if you bundle together your lifeline and your ACP benefits. Remember the two best plans to bundle together are assurance and safelink. My insurance has been taking weeks to get their phones to some people. I am my cousin took 6 weeks to get our phones but they have been giving better phones than they used to. Some people got Moto g pure phones. Or Schok Volt SV55 phones. Or wiko phones.
HUMAN-I-T and PCs for PEOPLE offer laptops under $50. But you may have to buy a mobile hotspot device. It has a one-time fee of about $80. But it may be worth it. In the long run. Their data plan costs $10 or $15 a month. So you may be able to use the so-called change from the $30 switch the ACP program page per month to reduce the mobile data hotspot device cost. And overall it may cost some money but they give about $20 megabytes per second speed within cap data which is a good deal for $10.
But if you want a laptop the best deal for most people if Comcast covers your area is to sign up for Xfinity Internet essentials. It costs $10 per month. It’s best to pay this out-of-pocket. So you can use your lifeline to get a phone with a free monthly phone plan. And you can use your ACP to get a tablet for $10 and look for a provider who gives 20 GB of high-speed data for the tablet unless you have home Wi-Fi then 10 GB may be enough. Stand up wireless and Boost Mobile give good tablets but only 10 GB of high-speed data. So paying $10 out of pocket for your Wi-Fi and not using your Lifeline benefit or your ACP benefit to pay for your Wi-Fi Xfinity Internet essentials cost $9.95 per month. If you need to use one of your benefits to pay for it use your Lifeline benefit. Because the lifeline pays 925 per month. So you would owe only 70 cents per month. You may even be able to ask them to write it off.
Xfinity Internet essentials cost $10 a month with free modem and installation. They also offer you the opportunity to buy a new deal laptop for $150. Either a 3120 latitude worth 350 or 400. Or a 3100 Chromebook worth around $300.
Mini Wi-Fi providers have their own low-income base reduced cost Wi-Fi plans between $10 a month and $20 a month. If Comcast is not cover your area AT&t has a program called access. And Cox Communications has a connect to compete plan. They may have one for school children and another for adults. Cox also gives out a laptops for people but you may not be required to buy a mobile hotspot device internet covers your area you may want to use them for the ACP program so you can get a laptop for under $50.
Mediacom has connect to compete. And several other Wi-Fi providers have low income plans for under $20 per month. Some may allow you to buy your own modem / router which you can buy used in good shape if you know which second hand size to shop on. New wig, back market, Facebook marketplace can have good deals but some people on there are dishonest and you need to have buyer protection and no exactly the details of how when you spend money you get protected. And you can check on Alixpress and banggood.

Contrary to the statement in your article, one cannot apply online with Infiniti. You can’t even check to see if they provide service in your area of Oklahoma. They’re located in Tulsa, though, so I’m assuming they don’t cover my extreme SE Oklahoma location, the hours away. Great plan. Poorly created website.
