Two things for you to note right up front about Infiniti Mobile: (1) Infiniti does business only in Oklahoma so all applicants must be residents of the Sooner State, and (2) Oklahoma is one of those states that requires companies to charge a small fee for the same service that’s called the free government cell phone program in other states (more information on those charges below):
Oklahoma Lifeline 1000 Plus Plan – Each month you will receive 1500 talk minutes, 1700 texts, PLUS 500 MB data per month, for $1.00 per month plus fees and taxes.
Oklahoma Lifeline Unlimited Plan – Each month you will receive unlimited voice minutes, unlimited text and a whopping 2.5 GB of data each month, for only $1 per month plus fees and taxes.
You’re probably thinking, why would I want to get the Lifeline 1000 plan when I can get the Lifeline Unlimited plan for the same one dollar a month? We’re wondering that too. If anyone can enlighten us, please let us know.
You can apply for a free government cell phone account with Infinity Mobile by filling out an application on the company’s website or by visiting one of its retail offices in Tulsa.
