When will I get my monthly data and minutes?

< Back to all FAQ's

This is one of those questions whose answer depends on the policies of your service provider.

In short, you’ll receive your monthly data and minutes according to the terms of your service plan. The specific timing of when you receive your data and minutes may vary depending on the provider and the plan you have chosen.

Some Lifeline Assistance/Affordable Connectivity Program service providers say you will receive your talk, text and data refills on the first day of each month. Others say the will be topped off each month depending on the date you enrolled. For example, if you enrolled on the tenth of the month you’ll receive your refills on the tenth of each subsequent month.

We always recommend familiarizing yourself with the terms of your service plan, including how and when your data and minutes are topped off, plus any usage limits and restrictions that apply to your plan.

If you have any questions about your service plan and can’t find the answers in your service providers FAQs or buried in its Terms and Conditions, contact your service provider’s customer service team for more information.
