AT&T Mobility is the name of the wireless service provided by phone company giant AT&T. The company has been around for more than 100 years and while it doesn’t offer a free government cell phone program, it does offer a Discount Lifeline program for needy Americans who can prove that they are eligible.
The Lifeline Discount service is available in large parts of 17 states plus the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Here’s a brief summary of the discounts available:

- North Dakota Tribal (Maximum discount $13.99)
- Oregon Non-Tribal (Standard discount is $9.25)
- Oregon Tribal (Maximum tribal lands discount is $23.99)
- Puerto Rico (Maximum discount is $12.75 per month)
- South Dakota-Pine Ridge (Regular discount $9.25. Maximum tribal lands discount is $13.99)
