That’s a bit like asking two different contractors how long it will take to build a house. One may tell you six months, another may tell you a year. Each case is completely different.
For example, one service provider’s website says: “Once we receive your documents, it may take up to 7-10 business days for us to process and verify them. If you send your documents by fax or mail, please allow 10-15 business days.”
Clearly, times may vary depending on what type of documents you need to provide, the volume of applications the provider is processing at the same time you apply, and differences in the processes and procedures the service provider uses to verify your info.
You can minimize delays by submitting all required documents as soon as possible and by submitting them all at once.
Does your service provider have any deadlines? If so, it is absolutely critical that your documents are received before that deadline.
If you have questions about the verification process or the status of your application, contact the service provider’s customer service team directly for more information. They should be able give you an update on the status of your application and, if any more documentation is needed, tell you what it is.
